Nepal sent $50,000 in aid to the state of Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina to help New Orleans and the affected regions. In the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes in Nepal, the Louisiana Himalaya Association (LHA) would like to return the favor, and we need your help!
Full Circle: New Orleans to Nepal is a fundraising benefit and auction to help the people of Nepal recover from devastating earthquakes, and repay their kindness to Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. Entrance donation will be $25 ($20 in advance at The Tibetan House at 4900 Tchoupitoulas Street or http://fullcirclenolatonepal.brownpapertickets.com/) and the event will feature:
•Live Music
•Amazing food from local chefs and restaurants, including Vincent's Italian Cuisine on St.Charles, Bacchanal, and vegan options by Iskcon, Breads on Oak, Mona's on Banks, Nolavore & more!
•Cash bar with specialty coctails
•A LIVE AUCTION hosted by John Calhoun
•and more TBA!

LHA has been dedicated to improving the lives of people in the Himalayan regions of India and Nepal while providing a cultural bridge between Tibet and Louisiana since 1997. LHA has carefully reviewed the progress of aid in Nepal and asks for donations to provide immediate temporary shelter and housing supplies. 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to those in need, and every dollar is valuable.
